Its the Wednesday before the Easter long weekend, and Robe is preparing for a massive weekend! Traditionally the busiest weekend of the year, the town comes alive with all kinds of events to keep all of the locals and the visitors to town entertained.
Firstly the Robe Primary School Fete and Car Boot Sale is on, we had a great time at this last year, and there is something for all the family. Local produce, Bouncy Castle, Go Carts, Old McDonald’s Farm and much more will keep the whole family entertained.
The 47th Annual Robe Easter Classic Surfing Competition will be held over the long weekend also, The location is subject to weather and surf conditions, so pop into Steve’s Place Surf Store in the Main Street for all of the details.
On Easter Saturday, Wangolina Vineyard is having a fun filled day with live music, food and an Easter egg hunt for the kids. Certainly worth 10 minute drive out of town to enjoy a relaxing afternoon amongst the vines.
Finally we have a new Cafe in town that has opened its doors today. Getting in just before the Easter rush, No.4 Cafe is located in the previous Providore site, but had a gorgeous makeover. looking at the feedback online today from some of the locals, it looks like the new owners are on to a winner, with nothing but praise for the new addition to the main street.
If you are heading to Robe this weekend, or anywhere in the South East, have a fabulous time! Take lots of pictures and feel free to tag @villamalmo on Instagram in them too!
